The Netflix, Amazon and HBO streaming platforms are already making the leap to streaming movies, so why not get them at home as well?
While Netflix, which is the dominant streaming service in the U.S., has been aggressively marketing its original content in recent years, Amazon has been ramping up its movie offerings as well.
That’s why the two streaming platforms have partnered up to offer a full slate of movies and TV shows.
Netflix offers a list of movies, TV shows and TV specials, while Amazon has a huge selection of classic movies and shows like “Duck Soup,” “The Jetsons,” “Jaws,” “Sister Act,” “Star Trek” and “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure.”
Netflix will also continue to offer classic TV shows like The Golden Girls, The Love Boat, The Patty Duke Show, The Dukes of Hazzard, and more.
HBO has already started rolling out its own movies and series like The Sopranos, “Boardwalk Empire,” “True Blood,” “Boarding House,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Game of Thrones,” “Westworld,” “Veep,” “Misfits,” and “Board of Cards.”

Finally, Amazon is launching a new series, “House Hunters,” which will be available for streaming through the company’s new service called Prime Video.
