In 2015, Hallmark released The Promise, a film that was supposed to be a sequel to the 2013 Hallmark movie Hallmark Forever, but Hallmark’s CEO Michael Smith has since said the movie never happened and that it’s not going to be made.
Hallmark will also release the Hallmark The Movie: The Life & Times of Katee Sackhoff, a follow-up film that is being directed by the same director of The Promise.
And now, according to The Wrap, Hallmarks Hallmark Entertainment has released the Hallmarks Christmas Movie, a Christmas movie about a fictionalized version of the life of Queen Victoria.
In the movie, Victoria (Katee Sackhof) is shown attending a Christmas party with her daughters (the Queen’s daughters) in her honor, and her life is a series of missteps leading up to her coronation in 2021.
In it, Victoria tries to escape from her life of royalty by making an unsuccessful attempt to buy a home, only to be followed by a ghost that follows her.
Victoria’s life is eventually put back together in the afterlife, but the ghost that she left behind is one of Victoria’s closest confidantes.
The movie will be released in 2019 and stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Zoe Saldana, and Ben Foster.
